Northern Madagascar Adventure Summary
Day 1 Antananarivo
Welcome to Tana! The first taste of Malagasy life, and the start of your Madagascar adventure.
Day 2 Andasibe
Today we travel to the east of the island to the town of Andasibe. This town is surrounded by several reserves, known as the kingdom of lemurs.
Day 3 Andasibe
Discover the dense forest of the East, home to the Indri, as well as other forms of flora and fauna and a wide array of bird life.
Day 4 Diego
Early morning drive to the capital, transfer directly to the Airport for your flight to Diego.
Day 5 Diego
Today we take a boat excursion to Mer d’Emeradude (Emerald Sea).Turtles, rays and flying fish will seduce you as much as the translucent, emerald colour of the lagoon .
Day 6 Joffreville
Today we take an excursion to Le Trois Baies (Three Bays), on the eastern side of the peninsula.
Day 7 Joffreville
After a late breakfast we drive to Parc National Montagne d’Ambre to explore its luxuriant forests, waterfall and lakes in search of its wildlife (lemurs, birds, reptiles).

We visit one of Madagascar’s most awesome natural wonders, Tsingy Rouge . These surreal formations stand on the edge of beautiful canyons. The scraggly pinnacles, erosion’s work of art are made of laterite, giving it its
Day 9 Nosy Be
We start the day with a short walk of +/- 2 hours exploring Parc National de l’Ankarana. A fantasyland of psychedelic fields of spiky tsingy(pinnacle formations). Running through and under the tsingy are hidden forest-filled canyons and subterranean rivers.
After a picnic lunch we drive to Ankify. En-route we visit some plantations of vanilla, coffee and cacao. On arrival in Ankify, we transfer by boat to the port of Hell Ville, the capital of Nosy Be island.
Day 10 -12 Nosy Be
Days at leisure on the beach.
Nosy Be is Madagascar’s number one beach destination, with more sea-based activities than you’ll have time to try, excellent seafood and idyllic scenery.
Days 13 Antananarivo
This morning we take a flight back to the capital, the rest of the day free to explore the capital or for some last shopping.
Day 14 Antananarivo
Your Madagascar adventure comes to an end this morning with a transfer to the airport to catch your international flight.
