For 5 days you get your own team of our well trained huskies. In small groups you follow the guide into ancient arctic forests on the edge of the National Park Pallas-Ylläs, through swamps, over fells and frozen lakes. Breathing the cleanest air of the world and listening to the sound of silence only 'disturbed' by the running paws in the snow.

Day 1 – Arrival Muonio
Day 1 – Arrival Muonio
Arrival at Kittilä airport and transfer to Muonio. Welcome dinner and overnight in one of our safari houses with shared facilities.
Day 2 - 5 - Into the Wilderness
Day 2 - 5 - Into the Wilderness
After breakfast you willbe provided with safari equipment and meet with the guide who will give you a short introduction to the program for the week. You meet your own dog team, the sleds will be packed and you will be taught how to handle the sled.
The route will take you throught the beautiful forest scenery, over frozen lakes and along the rivers. Each night is spent in different, simple but cosy huts without electricity. Each hut has a sauna to wash yourself and a wilderness toilet (without water).
Everyone takes care of their own dog team, helps to prepare the meals and make fire. Breakfast and dinner are prepared in the huts, lunch by the open fire in the wilderness.
Day 6 - Muonio

Return to Harriniva in the afternoon. Go through your safari memories together once more during a delicious farewell dinner with Lappish specialities. Overnight in one of our safari houses with shared facilities.

Today you have free day to relax or to book some of our other actvities available. Lunch and dinner is served in the restaurant. Overnight in one of our safari houses with shared facilities.
Day 8 - Depart

After breakfast departure to Kittilä airport.
