Detailed itinerary - Finland, Waking up Santa

Day 1- 2 Helsinki

Experience Helsinki where contrasts between east-and-west and old-and-new meet. This is a city with picturesque boulevards, trendy café culture, beautiful architecture and modern and impeccable design. You have two days to explore all the capital of Finland has to offer.

Day 3 - 5 Munonio Finnish Lapland

Stay for three nights at an unique Lappish resort in West Lapland.

During your four days here, you will get to experience a range of winter snow fun activities including:

snowmobile safari;
howling huskies at the husky farm and husky sleigh safari;
snowshoeing;
ice fishing;
zooming down the toboggan slope (you are never too old to toboggan!);
visit a real working reindeer farm and reindeer sleigh ride;
Private meeting with Santa in Santa’s cabin and cookie baking and Christmas decorations.

Days 6-7 Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi is situated on The Arctic Circle, the imaginary line located at 66 32’ ‘35’’ and the official town of Santa Claus.

Father Christmas has his office at Santa Claus Village, just 8,6 km from Rovaniemi center. In his office he greets and meets people from all over the world every single day of the year.

Days 8-9 Helsinki

Return to Helsinki, you can use the opportunity to do some last minute shopping, visit a museum, or just wind down at a local café before heading home from your Finland adventure.
